Aolime’s journey of lemon myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) cultivation began in 1998. With 28 years of localized breeding experience, we specialize in eco-friendly farming and consistent supply of premium botanical raw materials.
Our farm is located in pristine mountain terrain far away from urban areas, with zero industrial pollution. The lemon myrtle trees are nourished by natural mountain spring water in a favourable highland terroir. We grow trees of multiple age grades: our main harvests are sourced from mature trees over 12 years old, while the original 28-year-old parent trees are kept as our key germplasm reserve. Their well-developed root systems help the plants accumulate abundant nutrients over years.
We practise sustainable circular hand-harvesting: we pick carefully around the canopy instead of breaking branches roughly. This method keeps leaves intact and protects trees for stable, long-term annual yields. Harvest only starts after leaves mature on branches for three full months. This growth period guarantees high natural citral content, stable essential oil levels and rich, genuine aroma.
Under our ecological farm management, chemical applications are strictly restricted. Fresh leaves are dried and graded promptly after picking to preserve their natural scent.
Full batch traceability is available from farm harvest, primary processing to export shipment. We are able to supply phytosanitary certificates and other compliance documents required for cross-border plant imports to meet strict inspection rules of different countries.
We offer a wide range of specifications: whole lemon myrtle leaves, Grade A/B/C cut leaves and lemon myrtle essential oil, serving global buyers in herbal tea, food flavouring, aromatherapy and natural personal care industries. Small trial orders and large bulk supply are both available to flexibly accommodate buyers’ sampling and long-term purchasing plans.
We hold a simple belief: exceptional botanical ingredients come from patient, responsible farming in harmony with nature.
